Blessed to have many magical moments, for another year at Syntagma Square on 26/10/24, at the celebration with the Athletes of the Will! We stand by them and we support their effort along with the organization of the Federation of Associations of Greek Wheelchair Basketball Players (OSEKA) and we are proud of them!
OSEKA in collaboration with the Culture, Sports and Youth Organization of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA) held the 5th Hope Streetball. Wheelchair basketball overwhelmed the central square of the capital and the athletes impressed the hundreds of spectators throughout the whole event. The public, with undiminished interest, watched all the actions until the end of the event.
In the dance part, Veronica Sgardeli together with her choreographer, Anna Valari, once again impressed the audience with their choreography and received the warmest applause.
Equally impressive was the presence of Alexandros Pitsalidis of Hood Groove, who left those watching speechless with his tricks with the ball.
Politicians gave their presence and support, and emphasized that disabled sports is one of their main priorities. In fact, they had the opportunity to try a wheelchair basketball game, participating in different teams.
The athletic randez vous been renewed for the 6th Hope Streetball!
